What is the purpose of students studying hard all these years, of course for the better future. Every parent wants their kids have advantage over others, so they can be outstanding and have a good job. Students learn in campus, they are in the stage of studying knowledge while getting a job soon, there is necessary for them knowing something about society.
學(xué)生這些年努力學(xué)習(xí)的目的是什么，當(dāng)然是為了美好的將來。每個父母都想要他們的孩子比別人有優(yōu)勢，因為他們就能突出，找到一份好的工作。學(xué)生在大學(xué)里學(xué)習(xí)，他們處于學(xué)習(xí)和找工作的階段，對于他們來說，了解社會的一些事是必要的。
Before study in college, students focus all their attention on study for entering a good college, they don’t need to care about other things, it is also what their parents tell them. After entering college, it is a little different, at this stage, study is no more the only task, students should have access to society. They should make some preparation for the job hunting, knowing society helps them get use to the society quickly. Some students only care about score, when they find a job, the employer will ask him something about the public news, but students have no idea, this is so bad. What’s more, getting familiar with the society makes students find their own positions, they will know what they want and fight for it.

With the communication between nations, Christmas Day is more and more popular among people. Christmas Day is on 25th, December, which is the biggest and best-loved holiday in the United States.
隨著國與國之間的交流，圣誕節(jié)越來越受歡迎。圣誕節(jié)是在12月25日，在美國是也是喜愛的一個節(jié)日。
Christmas Day celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity religion. “Christmas” means “celebration of Christ”. On that day, people decorate Christmas tree with candies and presents. There is a popular saying about Christmas tree. A farmer served a poor child with delicious food. When the child left, he put a branch into soil and the branch turned into a big tree at once. He pointed at the tree and said that the tree will be full of presents to reward you on that day every year.

Santa Claus is the most popular people on that day. It is a custom to act Santa Claus. Before children go to bed on Christmas Eve, they will put a sock on stove and wait the Santa Claus to put presents into it. So Christmas Day is one of the favorable festivals for children.

Every year January 1st is the New Year’s Day. New Year’s Day is the first day in a year, which people regard it as the beginning of the whole year. It is a holiday for memories and for hopes. Chinese always believe that a good beginning will make a whole year become smoothly. So, it is an important festival that nearly everyone will have a day off.
每年的1月1日是元旦。元旦是一年中的第一天，人們把它當(dāng)作是一年的開始。元旦是一個對過去充滿回憶、對未來充滿期待的一個節(jié)日。中國人總是覺得一個好的開始可以使接下來的一整年順順利利的。所以，那是一個很重要的節(jié)日，幾乎每個人都會有一天假。
As it is important, people have figured out many ways to celebrate it. Some people will celebrate it with families and some will celebrate with friends. No matter what kind of celebrating way, it will be full of happiness.
由于其重要性，大家想了很多方式來慶祝。有些人會和家人一起慶祝而有些則會與朋友一起慶祝。無論用什么樣的方式慶祝，都是充滿歡樂的。
For me, I only have one day off, and I study far away from my family, so I can’t celebrate this special day with my family. But I will do it with my friends. We plan to have a wonderful dinner on the eve of New Year’s Day. And then we will talk and stay together to do the New Year countdown. On the New Year’s Day, we are going to going hiking or go shopping. It is certain that we call our family to share the enjoyment for the first day.
對我來說，我只有一天休息，而且我家里離我學(xué)校很遠(yuǎn)，所以我不能和我的家人一起慶祝這個特別的日子。不過我會和我朋友一起慶祝。我們計劃在元旦前夕吃一頓豐盛的晚餐。然后我們會呆在一起聊天之后一起新年倒計時。在元旦那天，我們會去遠(yuǎn)足或者逛街。我們肯定會打電話給我們的家人一起分享這第一天的快樂。
