As phones are spreading into everywhere in our life, we use it quite often to contact our acquainted people. Less people would like to write letters to their friends as for contact purpose. Some people believe that phone call or message is faster than letters. But others don’t think so. They tend to communicate with their friends by letter for they think letters can fully express their emotions. For me, I agree that phone is convenient than letters. Reasons are listed below:
First of all, communicate with others by phone is faster than by letters. We can call our friends in a minute and get the latest information about them. But if you want to write a letter, then it takes you minutes to write a letter for them and you will also get the outdated information about them.
Secondly, phone is convenient than letter. If we call others, all we need to do is to dial their number and make phone calls no matter where are you. But if we write letters to others, then we need time to write words down and send letters. Compare with the phone call, letter seems to do more work than make phone call.
All in all, phone is much convenient and saves us time to contact or communicate with others comparing with letters. Therefore, an increasing number of people tend to use phone instead of letter.
When we talk about the discrimination, we always think about the race between the black and the white. Black people are always looking down by the white people, while in our country, though we are the same color, the discrimination still exists, it is about the people’s view about the different cities.
When we talk about the big cities, such as ShanghaiandBeijing, we always think about that the people inBeijingresist the people from other cities.Beijingcitizens are so proud of their identity, they think they are priority, they are in the first rank, while others are lower than them. While when we talk about the people from poor country, we always think about the dirty face and ragged clothes, this is also discrimination. Are these true? Of course not, I have friends fromBeijingand Guangxi, both of them are nice to me, they don’t look down upon people or look dirty. The impressions are wrong, people now no longer discriminate each other, the crimination only exists in few people.
In all, though the discrimination still exists between cities, we must have the thought that it is not all people, just a few people, we believe that someday it will disappear.
We have seen some famous movies, such as Harry Potter and Twight, both are hot sell novels. When we see the novels have been put into the screen, it is naturally that we will compare the original one and the adapted one, the latter is always being critical, I prefer to see the novels.
The English novels are excellent, the first novel I saw was Twight, it is about a vampire named Edward and a human girl named Bella, they fall in love, but the different identities makes them hard to be together. When I read the story, I was so impressed, Bella’s inner voice is so strong that I imagine myself is her. While when I saw the movie, the plot happens so fast, Bella’s love is still strong, but for the audience, it is hard for them to understand. The long story is shorten, we have to finish the story in one and a half hour. The quick watch makes the audience hard to perceive the character’s inner world, so the strong feeling is weaker.
So for me, I like to read novels, I can perceive the character’s emotion and be immerged in the novel world.
