I have a cousin, she is two years younger than me. As both of us are the only child in the family, we are very close. We play together most of the time, but we have different character. I am a quiet girl while she seeks for passion. She always finds exciting things to do, and she just can’t stay at home for a long time. My aunt says she is very naughty and she is worried about her, because sometimes my cousin will come back home late for hanging out with her friends. I know her. When I was very small, I liked to listen to the bed story and my sister always told me horror stories. I would be very scared but fell asleep soon. In my mind, when night came, the ghosts would come out and we should not go out of the house, otherwise we would be taken away. As I grow up, I learn the science knowledge and I realize that there is no ghost in the world. It is said that the ghost exists in someone’s heart who has done the bad things. And some older people are superstition. They have the old mind and they know less about the science. Everyone needs a friend, because we are not the only one in the world. We need someone to talk to and share our happiness and sorrow. It is a child’s opinion, and it is simple and real. A friend is someone who we can trust, we don’t have to hide ourselves and just who we are. We will feel comfortable with them.
