As we all know, pollution is harmful to living beings. There are many different types of pollutions in this world. For instance, water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition will be damaged.
In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the pollution. Recently, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in the action of protecting the environment. This is a good sign. Rivers are being cleaned, air is purified, and the people come to realize that the importance of protecting the environment.
However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of them have been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the rivers or give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting the environment needs everybody’s effort.
我們都知道，污染對生物有很大危害。在這個世界上，有許多不同類型的污染。例如：水污染，空氣污染，噪音污染等等。水污染會使人們生病，甚至死亡。臟空氣會使患肺癌的幾率上升。而噪音污染會讓人失眠。人們的健康水平會下降。
在我看來，人們應(yīng)該采取措施去保護環(huán)境。近，不僅僅是政府部門，個人也參與到環(huán)保中去。這是個好現(xiàn)象。河流干凈了，空氣清新了，人們也意識到環(huán)保的重要性。
然而，這些還遠遠不夠。問題依舊存在。不是所有的問題都得到了解決。一些工廠依舊往河流里面排放污水，向天空排放有毒氣體。我們應(yīng)該謹記環(huán)境保護需要每個人的努力。
【篇二】我喜愛的老師My Favorite Teacher
In my life, I have encounter many teachers. They all have different personality. Among all the teachers, I have a very specially teacher. You may be very surprised at my answer--the dictionary. The dictionary is a living teacher. When I was young, I really love to turn to the dictionary for help. Whenever I come across a new word, I will consult it and know its definition. I guess every student, their first teacher is dictionary.
The dictionary is a good teacher. It is convenient, inexpensive and contained almost everything. Sometimes I am just too shy to ask my teachers about the questions I have on my mind. Then I will turn to my dictionary for help. She is quite and never reject my request. The more I use it, the more familiar I will become with it. Right now, I really good at finding the page I am looking for.
As far as I concern, a dictionary is a necessity especially when you need to learn a foreign language. But you should remember that you can not never become too dependent on it. Basic language skills don’t come from dictionaries, but from practices. Anyway, it’s still my favorite teacher.

Recently, an investigation has caused heated debate among the society. The result of the investigation has showed that about 50% of students in cities have private tutors. Some people think it’s quite necessary to hire a tutor to help the students with their homework, while some people argue that hiring a tutor has more disadvantages than advantages.
近，一項調(diào)查結(jié)果在社會上引起了強烈討論。調(diào)查的結(jié)果顯示：在城市中有大約一半的學生請家教。一些人認為請家教輔導學生寫作業(yè)很正常，而另外一些人則認為請家教弊大于利。
Why private tutoring is so popular? Well, many parents, for different kinds of reason, did not have the chance to receive a good education. When their children have problems in their study, they become helpless. Turn to the tutors for help seems to be the only solution.
為何家教如此流行？很多家長，因為某些原因，沒有得到很好的教育。當他們的孩子在學習中遭遇困難時，他們變得手足無措。而請家教就成了的解決方式。
On the surface, hiring a tutor can help students to improve their marks, but in fact, it takes up too much time of the students’ time that they will have no time for rest and entertainment. They spend all their time on study, they don’t have time to do exercise or play outside. What’s more, some teachers are eager to help students to do well on the exams, offering unnecessary tasks for the students, in this case, the students burden will be very heavy to some degree. Thus, I think it’s not necessary to have private tutors.
表面上看，請家教能幫助學生提高成績。但實際上，它占用了學生過多的休息于娛樂時間。學生們把所有的時間都花在學習上，都沒有剩余的時間去鍛煉或者出去玩。更糟糕的是，有些老師忙于幫學生提高成績，無意中給學生增加了很多壓力。因此，我認為請家教弊大于利。
