本句的主干是people may be "well" 。 who引導定語從句，修飾people;in this sense為插入語;if引導條件狀語從句;條件狀語從句中的they can又是一個定語從句，修飾health。
handicap既可作名詞，意為"障礙;殘疾;不利條件";又可作動詞，意為"妨礙，使不利"。如:
