    2.Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

    17.and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
    18.As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail,
    19.the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes
    20.and imagine the picturesque scene.
    21.Days and weeks passed.
    22.One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths
    23.only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window,
    24.who had died peacefully in his sleep.
    25.When all was arranged, the other asked if he could be moved next to the window.
    26.The nurse made the switch.
    27.Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow
    28.to take his first look at the world outside.
    29.Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself.
    30.He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.
    31.It faced a blank wall.
    32.The nurse said: “Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.”
