One little one peeked in ，Then another.And another .
一個(gè)小海馬偷偷看著章魚，然后另一個(gè)，接著有一個(gè)小海馬過(guò)來(lái)偷看。
The seahorses found Octopus fascinating.
海馬發(fā)現(xiàn)章魚很吸引人。
But she was shy and did not like to be noticed.She tired to shoo them away.
但是章魚很害羞，并且不喜歡人看著她。他嘗試避開他們。
But they thought she was playing， so they played too.
但是海馬認(rèn)為章魚在跟他們玩，他們也要跟章魚玩。
“ I give up .” Octopus sighed.
章魚嘆氣說(shuō)，好吧，我放棄了。
Squeezing out of her cave， she crawled into the garden.
擠出它的洞*，他爬到花園里。
She changed colors just like that，and disappeared .
她轉(zhuǎn)變了顏色，像這樣，然后消失。
The seahorses swam away， wondering where she‘d gone.
海馬也游開，很好奇到底章魚去了哪里。
See snake slithered in and out of holes.
看著水蛇在洞里爬進(jìn)爬出。
Among the swaying anemones， baby dominos played hide-and seek，
當(dāng)中有?？贿厰[，小多米魚在捉迷藏。
while clown fish chased butterflies fish.
然而小丑魚追逐蝴蝶魚。
Tiny fish ate algae from a big fish’s scales， leaving them sparking clean.
小魚吃著從大魚的鱗屑里掉出的海藻，讓小魚幫他清理干凈。
Octopus was about to pounce on a juicy lobster，
章魚正準(zhǔn)備撲向一個(gè)多汁龍蝦，
when she saw the little seahorses coming her way.
當(dāng)她看到小海馬往她這邊過(guò)來(lái)。
She went perfectly still， the lucky lobster slid into a crevice.
她完全靜止不動(dòng)，幸運(yùn)的龍蝦也溜進(jìn)裂縫處。
When the seahorses weren‘t disturbing her，they were delightful to watch.
當(dāng)小海馬不再打擾他，而是他們開心地在觀看她。
They wiggled and twirled， and one even did somersaults.
他們?cè)诖蜣D(zhuǎn)和擺動(dòng)，有只小海馬甚至翻跟斗。
It looked like so much fun！
看起來(lái)很好玩！
It was hard for Octopus to keep still， but she did ，and the merry seahorses moved on.
對(duì)章魚來(lái)說(shuō)繼續(xù)靜止不動(dòng)是很困難的，但是她還是照做了，并且開心的小海馬也離開了。
Octopus crept over to a thicket of stars， Jellyfish drifted past and headed beyond the reef .
章魚爬上錯(cuò)綜復(fù)雜的海星上，水母漂過(guò)去，越過(guò)暗礁。
“Where do they go ？” She gazed at the shimmering shapes.
“他們要去那里？她注視著閃閃發(fā)光形狀說(shuō)。
Suddenly she had a funny feeling.
突然，她有個(gè)有趣的念頭
The seahorses were staring. For how long ， she wondered ！
小海馬凝視著，要多久呢，她想。
She inked the water to hide her blushing and took off.
她噴墨到水里來(lái)隱藏她的臉紅然后離開。
She wanted to get away， far from goggling eyes.
她想離開，逃離海馬的瞪眼睛。
After a while， she spied something interesting.
過(guò)了一會(huì)兒，他發(fā)現(xiàn)了一些有趣的事情。
A box full of delicious crabs
一整盒都是美味的螃蟹。
Octopus squished herself into the cage... but the crabs began pinching.
章魚使勁壓扁自己鉆進(jìn)籠里....但是螃蟹開始收聚。
She fiddled with the door， and it opened. Out tumbled the frantic crabs.
她拉起門并且打開，出去的螃蟹亂蹦亂跳。
Octopus was about to grab a few， when she had another funny feeling.
章魚準(zhǔn)備去攫取一些螃蟹，這時(shí)她又有另一種有趣的感覺(jué)。
A hungry eel was about to strike ！
有一條饑餓的鰻魚即將要襲擊過(guò)來(lái)。
Octopus squirted a cloud of ink and swam and swam and swam.
章魚噴出墨汁然后游啊游...
When she finally stopped， she was far beyond the reef，
終她停下來(lái)，她是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超過(guò)了暗礁。
Here the water was gloriously empty.....no one watching ， no one to hide from.
這里是深水處，沒(méi)有看到，也沒(méi)有躲在這里。
Whale song rose faintly from the deep， Octopus remembered the dancing seahorses.

She wiggled ！ She twirled ！ She even did a somesault ！
她擺動(dòng)，她扭動(dòng)，她甚至打了翻斗。
She was so happy to be alone.
她很開心又可以一個(gè)人。
Then she felt a rumbling in the waters below .
突然她在水底感覺(jué)到隆隆聲的聲音。
Whoosh！
嘶嘶聲！
A whale surged past， up and out of the water.
鯨魚涌過(guò)水面
When Octopus awoke， she went outside，
當(dāng)章魚清醒，他游到外面。
A lone jellyfish drifted by No one was around to disturb her in this wonderful quiet place.
水母孤零零地漂流到一個(gè)沒(méi)有人打擾他并且一個(gè)非常安靜的地方。
But after some time ，she began thinking about the lively reef，
當(dāng)時(shí)過(guò)了一會(huì)兒，章魚開始想起到可愛(ài)的暗礁。
with its graceful anemones and slinking sea snakes.
有優(yōu)雅的海葵和偷偷摸摸的海蛇。
Most of all ，she wondered what the seahorses were up to.
重要的是，她想知道小海馬在游到哪里去了。
“ I’d better go home and find out.” she said， hurrying along.
我還是回家并且去找他們，說(shuō)著，她趕快沿著路一直游回去。
When Octopus reached the reef， one little seahorse welcomed her home.
Then another， and another.
當(dāng)章魚回到暗礁，一直小海馬在歡迎她回家，還有一只，和一只。
Octopus was glad to be back with her friends.
章魚很高興可以回到她朋友身邊。
