現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)還可以描述發(fā)生在過去且一直延續(xù)到現(xiàn)在的動(dòng)作，這種動(dòng)作甚至有可能延續(xù)下去。在這種情況下，它一般與for+ 一段時(shí)間、since+ 某個(gè)時(shí)間點(diǎn)連用。如：
How long has lan lived in the house ?
伊恩在這幢房子里住多久了?
He’s lived here for twenty years.
他在這里住了20年了。
Since when has he been there ?
他是從何時(shí)起就在那兒的?
Since 1976.
從1976年起。
