【篇一】Unit7 Lesson1
The plane was late and detectives were waiting at the airport all morning.
They were expecting a valuable parcel of diamonds from South Africa.
A few hours earlier, someone had told the police that thieves would try to steal the diamonds.
When the plane arrived, some of the detectives were waiting inside the main building while others were waiting on the airfield.
Two men took the parcel off the plane, and carried it into the Customs House.
While two detectives were keeping guard at the door, two others opened the parcel.
To their surprise, the precious parcel was full of stones and sand!

飛機(jī)誤點了，偵探們在機(jī)場等了整整一上午。
他們期待從南非來的一袋珍貴的鉆石。
幾小時之前，有人已經(jīng)報告了警察說有人試圖鉆石。
當(dāng)飛機(jī)抵達(dá)時，一部分偵探等在主樓里面，而另一部分則等在停機(jī)坪上。
兩人把包裹從飛機(jī)上拿下來，并且將其拿進(jìn)海關(guān)大樓。
兩名探員把住門口的同時，另外兩個打開了包裹。
令他們吃驚的是，那個珍貴的小包裝滿了石頭和沙子！
【篇三】Unit7 Lesson2
Adam:Did you go out this morning?
Eva:No, I've been here all day.
Adam:So, why didn't you answer the phone?
Eva:I didn't hear the phone. What time did you call?
Adam:Oh, I don't know. I've had a very busy day.
Adam:I called you a number of times.
Adam:In fact, I was trying to phone you all morning.
Adam:What were you doing?
Eva:I was feeding the baby and changing the beds,
Eva:and putting the washing machine on, and cleaning the bathroom,
Eva:and doing some ironing, and looking after the baby.
Eva:I sat down for half an hour at lunchtime, but that's all!
Eva:I've had a busy day too!
Eva:Were you really trying to phone me all morning? And why?
Adam:I wanted you to call the builder for me, and ask him to come and look at our roof.
Adam:I don't have time for things like that.

亞當(dāng)：你今天早上出去了嗎？
伊娃：沒有，我整天都在這兒。

伊娃：我也度過了忙碌的一天！
伊娃：你真的整個早上都在打電話給我？為什么？
亞當(dāng)：我想讓你給建筑工人打電話，叫他過來看看我們的屋頂。
亞當(dāng)：我沒有時間做那樣的事。
