如果有一天，機(jī)器人進(jìn)入家庭擔(dān)任Nanny的角色，你會(huì)覺得奇怪嗎？近日普特君在看一部英劇《真實(shí)的人類》，講述的就是機(jī)器人在我們的生活中普及后的故事。創(chuàng)作者從機(jī)器人進(jìn)入人類社會(huì)的角度來探討人性，可算一部神劇。從中總結(jié)了一些常用口語供大家一起學(xué)習(xí)。
1. show somebody out
把某人送出去
劇中例句：
We’ll show ourselves out.
我們自己出去就行。
Notes: show out的意思是“送客人，把某人送出去”。see somebody out也可以表達(dá)同樣的意義?？腿藖碓L，要離開時(shí)我們可以這樣說：
Let me show/see you out.
我送你出去。
2. be nuts about熱衷于，狂熱于
劇中例句：
She was nuts about babies.
她特別喜歡小孩。
Notes: nuts作名詞是“堅(jiān)果”的復(fù)數(shù)形式，作形容詞時(shí)意義為“狂熱的，熱衷的”，有點(diǎn)發(fā)燒友的意味。有個(gè)短語“go nuts”表示“發(fā)瘋，失去理智”。例句如下：
Sam is nuts about her.
山姆迷上她了。
My cousin is still nuts about that computer game.
我的表弟仍然熱衷于那款電腦游戲。
I would go nuts if she keeps talking like that.
她再那樣滔滔不絕我就要發(fā)瘋了。
3. That’s bollocks!
那是胡扯！
Notes: bollocks表示“胡說，廢話”。近義的單詞有“nonsense”,表示胡言亂語，謬論，愚蠢的行為等；“rubbish”也可表示廢話，無聊的想法；“bull*”表示帶有哄騙意味的胡說。例：
She is talking a load of bollocks!
她簡(jiǎn)直一派胡言！
Nonsense!
胡說！
You are talking nonsense!
你在胡說八道。
This drama is all rubbish.
這部劇就是在胡扯。
She tried to bull* me.
她想糊弄我。
4. take it easy on somebody
表示溫和對(duì)待某人
劇中例句：
He comes in here all the time. Take it easy on him.
他是這里的?？?，請(qǐng)好好跟他說。
Notes: take it easy on somebody表示溫和地對(duì)某人，不要太嚴(yán)厲，放輕松。例如：
You’ve been working so hard these days. Take it easy on yourself.
你這段時(shí)間工作得太辛苦了，讓自己放松下。
5. crack on
繼續(xù)做下去
劇中例句：
Here, Laura. Take my place.
勞拉，到這來，坐我的位置。
That’s Ok. You crack on.
沒關(guān)系。你們繼續(xù)。
Notes: crack on (with something)表示努力做某事，繼續(xù)下去，例句如下：
If I crack on with my homework I could finish it tonight.
如果我抓緊寫作業(yè)，今晚就可以完成。
6. there’s no point in doing something
做某事沒有意義
劇中例句：
There’s no point in staring at me.
沒必要盯著我看。
Notes: point作為名詞可表示“要點(diǎn)”，there’s no point表示沒有意義。例：
There’s no point in convincing me of the importance of this job.
勸我相信這份工作的重要性是沒有意義的。
7. draw a blank
白費(fèi)力氣，一無所得
劇中例句：
I think she’s posing as a human. She’s changed her eye color, wearing human clothes. That’s why we’re drawing a blank.
我想她是扮成了人類。她更改了瞳孔的顏色，穿上了人類的衣服。這就是為什么我們一直沒有進(jìn)展。
Notes: draw a blank正如它的字面意思，在口語中表示“無結(jié)果，無收獲，撲空”等。例：
She lost her gloves yesterday and looked for it everywhere but she’s drawn a blank so far.
她昨天把手套弄丟了，到處找，直到現(xiàn)在也沒找到。
