形容詞的平級比較級：as…as
形容詞的比較形式有3種：較高比較級(more expensive, the most expensive);較低比較級(less expensive, the least expensive) ;平級比較級 (as expensive as)。
請看下面句中as…as的用法：
The green apple is as sweet as the red one.
這個綠蘋果同那個紅蘋果一樣甜。
The policeman is as tall as the policewoman.
這個男警察與那個女警察個子一樣高。
The white knife is as sharp as the black one.

afford v.
(1)買得起;付得起(錢)：
She can't afford a new coat.
