用法一、動(dòng)詞consider, expect, hate, intend, like, mean, prefer, want等可接there to be做賓語(yǔ)。如：
(1) I considered there to be much time for the work.
我原以為有很多時(shí)間來(lái)做這件工作。
(2) I expect there to be great fun in the game.
我希望游戲中有很大的樂(lè)趣。
用法二、做介詞for 的賓語(yǔ)。如：
(1) You don’t have to hurry, for there to be much time left.
你不必匆忙，因?yàn)檫€剩有很多時(shí)間。
(2) Let’s get off the bus, for there to be too many passengers in it.
我們下車(chē)吧，因?yàn)檐?chē)?yán)锏某丝蛯⑻嗔恕?
