well在句中單獨(dú)使用，用以接續(xù)或改變話題。other than意為“除了”，表示后面的內(nèi)容不包含在內(nèi)。one dayis as good as the next字面意思為“某一天和第二天一樣好”，引申為“任何一天都行”。
英語四級(jí)考點(diǎn)歸納:
在口語中，表“除了”含義的除other than之外，還有:
※ except意為“除了……之外”，表示后面所說的內(nèi)容不包含在前者的范圍內(nèi)。
如：The shop is open every day except Tuesday.這家商店除星期二外每天都營業(yè)。
※ besides表示“除……以外，(還)”，相當(dāng)于in addition to。
分別舉例如下:
Besides English, they also study math, physics and chemistry.除了英語以外，他們還學(xué)習(xí)數(shù)學(xué)、物理和化學(xué)。
It is a job requirement to learn English in addition to French.除了法語，還要學(xué)習(xí) 英語，這是工作需要。
※ apart from表示“除^之外”。根據(jù)上下文的不同，它的用法既可以與besides相同，也可以與except相同。
如:Apart from them, I had no one to talk to. ( =except)除了他們以外，我沒有人可傾訴
Apart from other considerations, time is also a factor. ( =besides )除了別的考慮因素之外，時(shí)間也是一個(gè)因素。
