On June 13, computer software giant Microsoft announced a monster acquisition. It bought the business-oriented social network LinkedIn for $26.2 billion (172.7 billion yuan), marking the biggest purchase in company history. According to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, the deal is expected to bring the world’s leading professional cloud service together with the world’s leading professional network.
