高考英語詞匯分類講解：冠詞的省略
零冠詞主要指不能運(yùn)用冠詞的情況，冠詞的省略主要指可用可不用冠詞的情況，這與名詞前零冠詞的運(yùn)用是不同的。
1.文章標(biāo)題、書名等前冠詞的省略
文章的題目、新聞標(biāo)題、廣告語、書名、電報中，在不引起歧義的情況下，冠詞可不用，從而使行文更加簡明、快捷。
History of China before the Han Dynasty 《漢朝以前史》(書名)
Guangzhou Export Commodities Fair Opens 廣州對外出口商品博覽會開幕(新聞標(biāo)題)
Fully furnished flat to let 全新裝修公寓出租 (廣告)
2.部分并列或?qū)ΨQ名詞前冠詞的省略
(1)兩個并列名詞都有冠詞在前面時，第二個名詞前的冠詞?？杀皇÷浴?BR> Is the baby a boy or (a ) girl?
這個嬰兒是男孩還是女孩?
Both the old and (the) young will be invited to the party.
年老的和年輕的都會被邀參加這個宴會。
(2)在一些對稱結(jié)構(gòu)中，常?？梢詫⒐谠~省略掉。
from (the) east to (the) west從東到西
from (the) morning till (the) night從早到晚
from (the) beginning to (the) end從頭到尾
(3)序數(shù)詞前定冠詞的省略
在某些情況下，序數(shù)詞前的定冠詞常省略。
月日表達(dá)中：March (the ) eighth
并列使用兩個序數(shù)詞，后面序數(shù)詞前的定冠詞常省略。
the twentieth and twenty-first centuries等。
在某些動詞短語中，序數(shù)詞常省略。
take first place獲得冠軍
come out first結(jié)果獲得第一名
(4)一些固定短語中冠詞的省略
take (an) interest in對……感興趣
catch (a) cold感冒
take (a) pride in以……為豪
