    一、 at the back of 的用法
    at the back of有兩個(gè)用法：
    在……的后面”。如：
    There is a little garden at the back of the house. 房屋后有個(gè)小花園。
    We planted some trees at the back of the school. 我們?cè)趯W(xué)校后面種了些樹。
    注：用于此義時(shí)，相當(dāng)于 behind。
    在……的后部”。如：
    There is a little room at the back of the house. 房屋后部有個(gè)小房間。
    The index is at the back of the book. 索引在書末尾。
    注：用于此義時(shí)，不能用 behind 換。
    用于引申義。如：
    Someone must be at the back of this. 這事一定有人在背后搗鬼。
    二、 in the back of 的用法
    at the back of 的意思是“在……后部”。如：
    He sat in [at] the back of the car. 他坐在小汽車后部。
    注：在美國(guó)英語(yǔ)中有時(shí)可只用 back of 來(lái)表示以上意思。如：
    My home lies back of the school. 我家就在學(xué)校后面。
