一般過去時表過去
(1) 表示過去發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài)：
He bought the computer five years ago. 這電腦是他五年前買的。
It was then a small fishing village.那時它只是一個小漁村。
(2) 表示過去經(jīng)常性或習(xí)慣性的動作：
We often played together when we were children.我們小時候常在一起玩。
【注】表過去習(xí)慣性的動詞，也可用used to或would：
He used to go to work by bus. 他過去常乘公共汽車去上班。
