2017高考英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)：case在口語(yǔ)中的用法

1. in that case
    表示：要是那樣的話。如：
    A：I won‘t go. 我不去了。
    B：In that case， I won‘t go， either. 既然如此，我也不去了。
    You have finished， haven‘t you? In that case， you may go. 你已完工了，是不是?既然如此，你可以走了。
    They may not offer me much money. In that case， I won‘t take the job. 他們也許不會(huì)給我許多錢(qián)，要是那樣的話，我就不干了。
    2. That‘s [It’s] not the case.
    用以否定所聽(tīng)到的事情，意為：這并非事實(shí); 情況不是這樣的。如：
    A：He said he‘d waited there for a long time. 他說(shuō)他在那兒等了很久。
    B：No， that‘s not the case. 不，情況不是這樣。
    A：It‘s said that all of his money was stolen that night. 據(jù)說(shuō)，那天晚上他所有的錢(qián)都被偷了。
    B：But it‘s not the case. 但情況不是這樣。
    A：Is it the case that you have lost your passport? 你丟了護(hù)照，真有此事嗎?
    B：No， that‘s not the case. 不，這不是事實(shí)。
