Ⅰ. door“門”指進(jìn)出房屋的門或屋內(nèi)的門，也指車輛或櫥柜等的門。如：

② There are sliding doors between rooms. 房間之間有滑門。
Ⅱ. gate “門、大門”，指出入某一場(chǎng)所的門，如城門以及圍墻、圍欄、籬笆等的門。如：
① We’ll gather at the school gate at 6:30. 我們六點(diǎn)半在校門口集合。
② Who is the man at the garden gate? 誰(shuí)在花園門口?
