Ⅰ. hand in “傳遞、交給”。指交作業(yè)等。如：
    The teacher told them to hand in their exercise-books. 老師要他們交作業(yè)本。
    Ⅱ. turn in “上交、交出”。指將某物歸公?；蚪唤o上級或組織以便找到失主。一般也可與hand in 互換。如：
    ① You should turn in the money. 你應(yīng)該把那錢上繳。
    ② You should turn in / hand in your finished homework.你們應(yīng)該把完成的作業(yè)交上來。
