Ⅰ. road 指人和交通工具通行的“路”，也借喻：“導(dǎo)致……的途徑”如：
① Where does the road lead to? 這條路通什么地方?
② It is the road to success. 這是成功之路。
Ⅱ. street “街道”指由建筑物夾成的路。無road用法廣泛。
① Don’t play in the street.
Ⅲ. way 不是指實(shí)實(shí)在在的路，而是指達(dá)到特定的地點(diǎn)所須經(jīng)過的地方。與方向有關(guān)。如：
① It is a long way from here to the station. 從這兒到車站有一大段路程。
② Which is the shortest way there?到那兒去哪條路最近?
