文房四寶(the Four Treasures of the Study)是中國古代書畫用具的總稱，指紙、墨、毛筆與硯臺(ink stone)。文房四寶的質量對繪畫和書法(calligraphy)起著決定性的作用。因此進行中國傳統(tǒng)繪畫和書法的文人 部很注重這些用具的選擇。唐宋時期(the Tang and Song Dynasties)的文房四寶因其質量優(yōu)良與制作精美，為后世學者高度稱頌。在某種程度上來說，“文房四寶”是促進中國傳統(tǒng)文化發(fā)展的一個重要因素。
