Menstrual leave
China’s Ningxia Hui autonomous region is launching protective measures for female workers who suffer during menstruation. The order *stipulates that female employees who are unable to work due to severe period pain can ask for either one or two days paid “menstrual leave”. At least ten provinces have proposed the regulations in their regions so far.
寧夏回族自治區(qū)將出臺(tái)《自治區(qū)女職工勞動(dòng)保護(hù)辦法》，其中明確“痛經(jīng)假”，重度痛經(jīng)或經(jīng)量過(guò)多，不能堅(jiān)持正常工作的，可給予1天到2天帶薪休假。截至目前，至少有十個(gè)省份出臺(tái)了相應(yīng)文件給予女性員工“痛經(jīng)假”。
馬上學(xué)：“休假”的表達(dá)方式還有vacation，time off。相關(guān)短語(yǔ)有：paid leave (帶薪休假)、annual leave (年假)。
