Conversation1： Student and his history professor
學生去找professor問關于research paper里面的resource的事情。Professor 提到了 first resource & second resource。并且舉例告訴了學生各是什么樣的信息來源，像一些Letters, lectures, data.學生提到自己的topic是要寫immigrants in US,里面會涉及到work and settlements，并且要與Germany 和France進行比較。 Professor提醒學生要注意兩種resource的結合運用。
Lecture1： Ants ‘work allocation
先講了insects的基本生活習性，后面具體講到ants colony. Ants會有一個queen去做一些評估分配，重點提到了ants’ work allocation, 有去patrolling，有去forage,還有一些for maintenance，他們會based on their current conditions 去改變和調整。然后詳細講解了ants怎么去patrolling,怎么去forage.并且通過一些他們的完成度可以去看他們更適合哪個role。但是這種習慣只適用于這種ants,每種都有their own different ways.
Lecture2： Brain function
講了brain 在我們體內(nèi)的重要性，并且有不同的functions的體現(xiàn)。提到了一種重要作用是FMRI (magnetic resonance imaging),對于memory有重要影響。提到了另一個要素prefrontal cortex,對于具體memorize的作用分成2種type,有對language 和meaning的影響。
Conversation2： Student and professor
professor 找學生說他的club的事情。學生的cooking club不太合乎規(guī)定，需要填一些paper來達到official club的規(guī)定。學生用另外一個hiking club的例子來講專業(yè)正規(guī)的club的那些規(guī)模設備問教授都是怎么來的。Professor說了申請后就可以，并且質疑了學生的cooking club不能只邀請自己的friends & classmates參加，要面向更多的群體；并且要確定meeting location。學生說都在計劃中。
Lecture3：Various paper of artwork
先提到了water color對于artwork的作用。其中有一個重要特性是flute. 如果想要artwork more adorable,要選擇light 性質的color. 有一些特殊的paper有fludsive material 影響。后面提到了digital technique的2種特征，可以spread all over the world，另外比較好preserve.教授讓學生keep in mind什么樣的artwork要選什么樣的paper.
Lecture4：Sand dunes
先講到soil的一些特性。具體提到了sand dune. 一般sand dune的out layer是比較dry, less moisture并且比較松的。Inside layer 是相反的。講到了desert里面關于sounds的一些特征。中間有與學生的對話，學生用自己的宿舍作為例子說了關于echo的一些解釋。
