大學教育是人類文明的體現(xiàn)，大學教育水平則反映社會的文明程度。中國的大學教育近些年快速發(fā)展，有助于普及高等教育。大學的數(shù)量和大學生的人數(shù)增長迅速，在2010年，在校大學生人數(shù)就已經達到了3000萬。大學教育為社會培養(yǎng)了大量的專業(yè)人才，他們是國家未來發(fā)展的核心動力，因此，大學教育極大地促進了社會的進步。但中國的大學教育也面臨著不少的問題，如專業(yè)設置不合理、教學質量下降、畢業(yè)生就業(yè)難等。
