場景特色詞匯的特征和作用
在高考聽力試題中，基本上每次都會有一些問及對話發(fā)生的地點、對話者的職業(yè)或者對話者之間關(guān)系的試題。怎樣才能做好這類題呢?基本的辦法就是把握對話中的場景特色詞匯。所謂場景特色詞匯是指在這類試題中能反映某種場所(環(huán)境)特征或職業(yè)特征的詞匯。

M: Could you tell me the departure time of this flight?
W: Certainly, the flight takes off at 2 p. m.
Q: Where does the conversation take place?

W: You were absent from class yesterday, Tom. Where were you?
M: I couldnt come, Mrs. Smith. I hurt my foot and my father took me to the doctors.

Q: Where does this conversation most probably take place?

我們根據(jù)例25對話中出現(xiàn)的departure time(起飛時間)雖然超綱，但是flight(飛機(jī))，takes off(起飛)這些反映機(jī)場特征的詞匯可以判定該對話發(fā)生在機(jī)場, 對話者為旅客和機(jī)場服務(wù)人員。例26的對話者是老師和學(xué)生，其中的關(guān)鍵詞是absent from class(缺課)。例27的對話場所是餐館，判斷的依據(jù)是關(guān)鍵詞food。盡管對話中還出現(xiàn)了music和判斷的依據(jù)是關(guān)鍵詞flowers，但也不可能是在花店或音樂廳。因為餐館中會有花和音樂，而花店與音樂廳不可能與food有關(guān)。在例28的對話中，根據(jù) Can I help you (服務(wù)用語)和男方回答中出現(xiàn)的coat,可以判定女方的職業(yè)是售貨員(salesgirl).
