學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)：These postcards are great!
It’s a picture of the Great Wall .
功 能：
講述關(guān)于某個地方或某件事物的情況。
教學(xué)過程：
一、 熱身復(fù)習(xí)：
1、老師熱情的問候?qū)W生們，歡迎他們在暑假過后回到學(xué)校。
（How are you ,boys and girls?Welcome back to school）
2、老師可以詢問學(xué)生們在假期里都去了哪些地方，做了哪些事情，有沒有特別有趣的經(jīng)歷。
（Where did you go in summer holiday? What did you do in summer holiday ?Have you got interesting things to tell me ?）
3、建議他們通過展示圖片和照片介紹相關(guān)的情況，可以使用句型“It’s a picture of ,It’s very .”等。
二、 任務(wù)呈現(xiàn)與課文導(dǎo)入：
1、老師從學(xué)生的圖片或照片中選取比較典型的并提問：“Do you know this place?”引導(dǎo)全班學(xué)生自由回答。
2、回答完畢后，老師總結(jié)：These photos are great .
出示長城的明信片，復(fù)習(xí)單詞postcard . 老師問：Do you know this place ? 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答：Yes ,it’s the Great wall . It’s a picture of the Great Wall .老師再問：Is it long or short ? It’s long .
3、告訴學(xué)生：在這個暑假里，Daming 去了美國旅游，并在那里經(jīng)歷了很多有趣的事情。剛到表哥Simon家，行李還沒有收拾好，Daming 和Simon就迫不及待的聊開了。
三、課文教學(xué)：
1、將本課的掛圖貼在黑板上，播放錄音，呈現(xiàn)SB活動1，讓學(xué)生看書，聽聽Daming 和Simon 的對話，聽完之后，讓學(xué)生說一說：Who is Simon ? Where is Daming ? What are they doing ?
2、讓學(xué)生打開書，放錄音，學(xué)生邊聽邊看書，勾畫出課文中的生詞。 教師講解單詞：

3、再放錄音，讓學(xué)生勾出文中的重要信息，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答以下問題：
（1）明信片上畫的是哪里？ （2） 關(guān)于長城、紐約和北京，他們都談了些什么？
4、講解課文重點句型：
1. These postcards are great .
2. It’s a picture of the Great Wall .
3. How long is the Great Wall ? It’s about six thousand seven hundred kilometers .
4. How big is Beijing ? It has got eight million people .
5、把全班分成兩組，表演對話。
四、課堂練習(xí)：
1、全班完成AB練習(xí)1。
2、老師帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生共同完成SB活動3的游戲。
五、課后作業(yè)。
