英語和漢語讀數(shù)方法的不同使得聽音時不能及時反應(yīng)出實際數(shù)字，在日常生活和考試中都會造成一定的麻煩。要想快速準確進行數(shù)字對應(yīng)，首先要弄清兩種數(shù)字系統(tǒng)的對應(yīng)關(guān)系：
千億 hundred billion 3
百億 ten billion 2
十億 billion 5,
億 hundred million 8
千萬 ten million 6
百萬 million 7,
十萬 hundred thousand 1
萬 ten thousand 3

通過比較我們可以看出，漢語中每位數(shù)字都有單獨的名稱，而英語中只有個，十，百，千，百萬和十億位的數(shù)字名稱，每個數(shù)位的大小均以3位數(shù)表示。
如上圖數(shù)字讀作：three hundred twenty five billion, eight hundred sixty seven million, one hundred thirty four thousand and five hundred twenty nine.
