1.a million and a half:這里是指很多 這是美國(guó)人夸張的一種表達(dá)方式，使用相當(dāng)廣泛。中文中我們也會(huì)夸張，但用的數(shù)字通常會(huì)小些。 比如我們說(shuō)："都告訴你幾百遍了你還記不住。翻成英文就是"I have told you a million times"也就是說(shuō)我們通常使用的'百'在美國(guó)人嘴里就變成了million。所以百里挑一就變成了one in a million
2. Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get 這句話的難點(diǎn)在于對(duì)chocolates的理解，阿甘那個(gè)時(shí)代的巧克力很多都是一盒中口味眾多，可上面又沒(méi)有標(biāo)記是什么口味，除非親自品嘗。所以，阿甘母親的意思其實(shí)是在表達(dá)，生活就像不知道下一塊會(huì)吃到什么味的巧克力一樣，只能順其自然。
3. as crooked as a politician:跟政客一樣歪曲 crook這里指彎曲的意思。 拓展：byhook or by crook意思是不擇手段 They intend to get their way, by hook or by crook 為達(dá)到目的，他們不擇手段。
