①forget是忘記,不再把某事放心上,忽視忽略的意思。leave是遺忘,丟下的意思。
具體用法上,forget一般是forger to do sth(忘記去做)或forget doing sth(忘記曾做過的事),這時不能用leave;leave一般是leave sth sp(把某物忘在某地),這時不能用forget。

I forget to bring my book.(帶書是抽象的動作)
leave指具體的:
I left my book at home.(書是具體事物)
