I am an art student and I paint a lot of pictures.

Many people pretend that they understand modern art.

They always tell you what a picture is 'about'.

Of course, many pictures are not 'about' anything.

They are just pretty patterns.

We like them in the same way that we like pretty curtain material.
我們喜愛它們就像我們喜歡漂亮的窗簾布一樣。
I think that young children often appreciate modern pictures better than anyone else.
我覺得小孩子們往往比任何人都更能欣賞現(xiàn)代繪畫，
They notice more.
他們觀察到的東西更多。
My sister is only seven, but she always tells me whether my pictures are good or not.
我的妹妹只有7歲，但她總能說出我的畫是好還是壞。
She came into my room yesterday.
昨天她到我房里來了。
'What are you doing?' she asked.
“你正在做什么？”她問。
'I'm hanging this picture on the wall,' I answered.
“我正在掛畫?！蔽一卮?。
'It's a new one. Do you like it?'
是一幅新畫，你喜歡嗎？
She looked at it critically for a moment.
她看著畫猶豫了一會。
'It's all right,' she said, 'but isn't it upside down?'
“好！”她說。“但是上下不是顛倒了嗎？”
I looked at it again.
我又看了一遍
She was right! It was!
