1．i can't change a ten-pound note. 我找不開(kāi) 10英鎊的鈔票。
這里 change是動(dòng)詞，意為“兌換”。change還可作名詞，意為“零錢”，如課文中的 i've got no small change, i'm afraid。此外，no +名詞表示所指的東西全然沒(méi)有。以上這句話比 i haven't got any small change更強(qiáng)調(diào)沒(méi)有任何一點(diǎn)兒零錢。
