這里“山重水復(fù)”可以簡單說成endless mountains and rivers，而“疑無路”這三個(gè)字可以說是比較難翻譯的一個(gè)地方，上文的譯本中作了一個(gè)主語的轉(zhuǎn)換，將“懷疑”的主語人省去了，用leave doubt that這個(gè)詞組來表示，就使得譯文簡化了很多，不然一定要添譯進(jìn)去一個(gè)“人”的主體，譯文很可能就比較冗長：After trudging through endless mountains and rivers，one might begin to doubt whether there is a path out。
同樣，“柳暗花明又一村”這一句也簡化成了三個(gè)意象：willow，flower，village。

這一屆世界博覽會(huì)建立美國展區(qū)，為了展現(xiàn)我們偉大國家的風(fēng)采，走過了一段很不容易的路程。
