今日GRE考試從考生給我的報分來看，難度并不算高，與3月7日的考試難度基本持平。很多考生心中有一個疑惑，GRE考試為了保持公平性，每次考試的難度不是應該一致的么?為什么會存在有些考試難度較高，有些考試難度較低的說法呢??從絕對意義角度講，GRE考試為了保證考試公平性，因此無論在何時、無論在何地參加的哪一場GRE考試，難度會持平。
但是，第一，GRE考試本身正在變難，這是不爭的事實，現(xiàn)在考試的題目和OG的題目難度相去甚遠;第二，我們所謂的難度是針對中國學生，中國學生英語基礎薄弱，可能會受到單詞量等因素的干擾，所以我們一般認為沒有生片怪癖詞匯，普遍句子難度不大而邏輯思維強度大的場次對中國學生有利，生詞程度高但邏輯簡單的場次對于中國學生反而不利。試想，如果連題目都讀不懂，何談邏輯呢?所以有的時候真是幾個單詞難倒英雄漢。
讓我們接下來繼續(xù)盤點一下本次考試的情況吧。
1. 3月15日作文
本次作文考題依然延續(xù)了兩套題目策略，北京新東方GRE作文寧立波老師在針對本次考試的點題班中點中作文題目，上過點題班的同學是不是寫作文的時候都笑了出來了呢?
本次作文issue題目為：
(1) 19 Governments should focus on solving the immediate problems of today rather than on trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.
(2) 112. Requiring university students to take a variety of courses outside their major fields of study is the best way to ensure that students become truly educated.
argument 題目為：
(1) ”Butter has now been replaced by margarine in Happy Pancake……
(2) ”During the past year, Quiot Manufacturing had 30 percent more on-the-job accidents ……
2. 3月15日考試異常結(jié)構(gòu)情況
在這次考試中，多位同學向我們反映某一個Verbal Section并非以正常的結(jié)構(gòu)出現(xiàn)。這幾年GRE考試結(jié)構(gòu)穩(wěn)定在以text completion開始，sentence equivalence 穿插其中的方式。而這次考試有些同學遇到了一個section以閱讀開始，10道閱讀題目結(jié)束后才出現(xiàn)了4個sentence equivalence，然后緊跟著6個text completion。這種情況我所知道的還是第一次出現(xiàn)，不過我的預判應該很有可能是一個加試的section，因為算分的section和大部分加試都遵循著經(jīng)典結(jié)構(gòu)。在以往的考試中有同學跟我匯報過在一個section中碰到過8個三空題，6選二出現(xiàn)在了第一題等情況，后來根據(jù)判據(jù)確定那個section為加試。
所以同學們在考場上如果遇到了不規(guī)則的section不需要緊張，一來根據(jù)歷史經(jīng)驗加試的可能性極大，而來GRE考試可以調(diào)整做題順序，還是可以按照你舒服的方式完成題目。
