    例句:1.Mr.Jefferson is really a big shot. He held a press conference yesterday.

    2.His father must be a big shot. He got invitations from the White House.

    7.intention n. 意圖;打算;目的
    have intention of doing sth. 有某種目的、意圖或打算(have a plan or purpose in mind, intead to do sth.)
    例句;1.He had no intention of vagetaiting for the rest of his life.
    他不想像植物那樣無所事事地度過余生。
    2.Carol came to college with the intention of becoming either a mechanical engineer or an architect.
    卡羅爾上大學(xué)的目的是想成為一名機(jī)械工程師或是建筑師。
