I agree that children should receive money for doing house hold tasks because first of all, it will teach the child a sense of reward for hard work. When I was a kid, my parents had a list of chores that they would make me do every Saturday and when I was finished, they would pay me five dollars for my efforts. This taught me the value of hard work.
Second of all, it can teach a child responsibility for doing things that they have to do, even though they don’t want to. I never want to do household tasks, but I know that if I don’t, then my house will become a mess and that can lead toillness and other problems. So by teaching children at a young age, they can avoid future problems.
That’s why I think that kids should be rewarded for doing household tasks.
