雅思口語話題1

字號(hào):

I would like to talk about my mother. She usedto be a public servant but now she is a full-time homemaker.
    Some people would argue, “That’s not a job!” But I believe, that’s the most important jobin the whole wide world. They are called “homemaker” for a reason. I know they are notbreadwinners, but they are the ones who make a house a home!
    And I think the most awesome part is, she already took the whole responsibility of ahousewife when she was still a working mom.
    My dad always takes business trips, so he’s away all the time. My mom has to take care ofthe whole family, which includes 2 daughters, my grandma and a cat. Sometimes she has to bethe mom and the dad. She’s really a multi-tasker who can wear several hats at the same time. Ifsomething doesn’t work, not a problem at all. She can fix everything, she can be a plumber, ahandyman, a vet, and most importantly, she can be a teacher.
    We learned so much from her, like time management, sharing good stuff with others,independence and things like that. So basically, she makes me who I am today.
    Housewives are always underestimated, and they are doing an unpaid and thankless job,but they spend the most time with their children during their formative years, they’ll have alasting influence on the younger generation, who happen to be the future of our society. So Iguess that’s why I think housewives are important.
    這個(gè)答案是不是還可以變成a person who’s older than you that you admire?嗯,那樣的話,最后一段就可以變成夸媽媽,例如:
    I really think my mom has done a great job as every role she has ever played.
