Mr Wood: Is my car ready yet?

Attendant: I don’t know, sir. What’s the licence number of your car?

Attendant: When did you bring it to us?

Mr Wood: I brought it here three days ago.

Attendant: Ah yes, I remember now.

Mr Wood: Have your mechanics finished yet?
伍德先生：你們的機械師修好了嗎？
Attendant: No, they’re still working on it. Let’s go into the garage and have a look at it.
服 務(wù) 員：沒有，他們還在修呢。我們到車庫去看一下吧。
Attendant: Isn’t that your car?
服 務(wù) 員：這難道不是您的車嗎？
Mr Wood: Well, it was my car.
伍德先生：唔，這曾是我的車。
Attendant: Didn’t you have a crash?
服 務(wù) 員：難說您沒有出車禍嗎？
Mr Wood: That’s right. I drove it into a lamp post. Can your mechanics repair it?
伍德先生：是啊。我把汽車撞在電線桿上了?！∧銈兊臋C械師能修好嗎？
Attendant: Well, they’re trying to repair it, sir. But to tell you the truth, you need a new car.
