After hearing about introduction of Yellow River,Amy becomes more curious about rivers in China.So she asks Jason to talk about the Yangtze River.
埃米聽完賈森關(guān)于黃河的介紹之后，對中國的河流更加感興趣于是賈森向她介紹起了長江.
Amy:Since the Yellow River is the second longest river in China,which river is the longest in China?
埃米：既然黃河是中國的第二長河.那哪個是第一長河呢?
Jason:That would be Chang Jiang, also called Yangtze River. It is the 3rd longest river in the world, next to the Nile in Africa and the Amazon in South America.
賈森：第一長河是長江，也叫揚子江長江也是世界第三長河，僅次于非洲的尼羅河和南美洲的亞馬遜河。
Amy:Is it also originated from Qinghai Province?
埃米：長江也起源于青海省嗎?
Jason:Yes. It is as lona as 6.397 kilometers eastward into East China Sea. But the Yangtze River is the diving line between the north part and south part of China.
賈森：是的長江長達6397千米，最終向東注入東海不過長江的重要作用還在于它是中國南北方的分界線。
Amy:So there are huge differences in geographical features between the two sides.
埃米：那這么說長江兩岸的地理環(huán)境差別很大。
Jason:Yes, you are right. At the same time, Yangtze River is also very important to China historically culturally and economically. Many big cities have been developed along it like Chongqing, Wuhan and Shanghai
