一.話題范圍
根據(jù)OG，托?？谡Ztask1中的?？荚掝}可以分為四類。首先是人物類，這類話題主要考察的是考生對周圍的人的印象，比如2012年1月14日大陸托福口語Describe a person whom you’d like to talk with often (this person could be one of your close friends, family members or teachers).就是考察的這類考題。其次是事件類話題，這類話題中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的話題題目就是讓考生論述自己最難忘的一次經(jīng)歷等等，比如2010年5月5日Describe a project or assignment which is important to you就是事件類的考題。第三類比較?？嫉脑掝}就是事物類話題。事物類話題中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的題目就是讓考生論述自己最喜歡的書籍，最喜歡的植物或者動物等等，比如2010年5月22日的What kind of music do you like the least?就是事件類話題。最后，比較少出現(xiàn)的話題地點類話題，這類話題中主要考察的是考生最喜歡的地方，比如2010年6月13日的Describe your favorite area in your city.就是這類題型。
二.考察能力
這類題目是N選1的題目，前程百利小編認為，task1中主要考察考生三個方面的能力。首先是考生describe and express opinion的能力，主要考察考生在論述自己答案的時候是不是在一開始就可以清晰的表明自己的觀點和選擇。比如考生在回答TPO1TASK1 Talk about a book you have read that was important to you for some reason. Explain why the book was important to you.的時候，就應(yīng)該首先陳述出自己最喜歡的書籍是哪一本比如A book that is very important to me is Harry Potter.
其次是考生explaining your main idea的能力，即在考試中，考生是否可以用分論點，恰當(dāng)合適的去證明自己的觀點。比如考生在回答上一個題目的時候，說完了總論點之后，要找具體的分論點來進行論述。比如First of all, the story of the book is very attractive. Secondly, the background of the author, J.K. Rowling, also interests me greatly。
最后考察的是考生giving example的能力，即考生在論述的過程中不能只用空洞的語言陳述自己的觀點，需要用具體的例子來證明自己的觀點。比如考生在說完第二個分論點之后，可以這樣陳述，具體的說明J.K. Rowling的經(jīng)歷是怎樣吸引了自己的即J.K. Rowling, a single mother who was very poor, always write in a coffee shop before she published Harry Porter. But now she is almost the wealthiest woman in the world. Her life experience inspired me a lot.
