One of the first things I do each morning is to check my email.
我每天早上做的第一件事就是檢查郵件。
I open the email program on my computer and I check for new messages.

It usually takes only a few seconds for my new messages to download from the server into my inbox unless there’s a large attachment.
一般只需要幾秒鐘我的新郵件就可以從服務(wù)下載到我的收件箱了，除非有大的附件文件。
I can then click onto each new message to read it.
于是我就可以打開每個郵件來閱讀。
I reply to messages or forward them to someone else.
我要么回復(fù)郵件，要么轉(zhuǎn)給其它人。
The important messages I save by putting them into one of my mailboxes.
重要的郵件我會存在我的郵箱中，不重要的我會刪除。
The unimportant ones I just delete.
我很煩收到垃圾郵件。
I really hate getting spam. Luckily, my email program allows me to set up filters so that spam messages are put into a separate mailbox automatically.
所幸，我的郵件程序允許我設(shè)立過渡功能，這樣垃圾郵件就會自動放在一個專門的郵箱中。
I usually scan the messages to make sure real messages weren’t put into the mailbox by mistake and then I put them in the trash.
一般我會快速瀏覽一下這些郵件，以防被機器錯誤地判斷為垃圾郵件，然后我就將這們放進電子垃圾箱。
I don’t know what I would do without email, but I’m constantly checking it for new messages.

I’m not sure if it’s a blessing or a curse. I suppose it’s both. 我不知道這是好事還是壞事，可能都有吧。
