書(shū)是人類(lèi)進(jìn)步的階梯。生活里沒(méi)有書(shū)籍，就好像大地沒(méi)有陽(yáng)光；智慧里沒(méi)有書(shū)籍，就好像鳥(niǎo)兒沒(méi)有翅膀。讀書(shū)是成長(zhǎng)的基石，讀書(shū)是精彩人生的開(kāi)始。古今中外眾多志士偉人都是勤奮讀書(shū)的楷模。

周恩來(lái)為中華崛起而讀書(shū)。毛澤東一生愛(ài)讀書(shū)，無(wú)論是戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)年代還是和平時(shí)期，只要一有閑暇時(shí)間就讀書(shū)，而且他不動(dòng)筆墨不看書(shū)，讀書(shū)時(shí)在重要的地方劃上圈、杠、點(diǎn)等各種符號(hào)，在書(shū)上空白的地方寫(xiě)上批語(yǔ)，有時(shí)還把書(shū)中重要的內(nèi)容摘錄下來(lái)，或隨時(shí)寫(xiě)下讀書(shū)的心得體會(huì)，并把學(xué)習(xí)所得運(yùn)用到實(shí)踐中去，指導(dǎo)中國(guó)革命。魯迅少年時(shí)，冬天晚上讀書(shū)冷，就把辣椒放在口中嚼，用辣椒驅(qū)寒，堅(jiān)持讀書(shū)。世界文學(xué)家高爾基就曾借著月光讀書(shū)，在樓頂讀書(shū)，在老板的皮鞭下讀書(shū)。對(duì)讀書(shū)的癡迷，終于把他造就為世界文學(xué)巨匠。正如高爾基自己所說(shuō)："書(shū)籍使我變成了一個(gè)幸福的人".世紀(jì)老人冰心曾教導(dǎo)我們

開(kāi)學(xué)典禮上，李春雷校長(zhǎng)號(hào)召同學(xué)們開(kāi)展"讀書(shū)、運(yùn)動(dòng)、探究"活動(dòng)，闡述了讀書(shū)的深遠(yuǎn)意義。學(xué)校為鼓勵(lì)同學(xué)們讀書(shū)，開(kāi)展了讀好書(shū)贈(zèng)書(shū)刊，家長(zhǎng)孩子共讀一本書(shū)活動(dòng)。剛剛過(guò)去的寒假，高中部向每個(gè)學(xué)生家長(zhǎng)推薦了閱讀書(shū)目，并寫(xiě)閱讀體會(huì)，得到了家長(zhǎng)的普遍好評(píng)。九（3）班劉浚凱同學(xué)的父親在閱讀體會(huì)中寫(xiě)到：謝謝學(xué)校假期給家長(zhǎng)們安排的讀書(shū)作業(yè)，讓我在讀書(shū)中領(lǐng)悟到今后如何讓孩子快樂(lè)讀書(shū)，早點(diǎn)形成獨(dú)立能力，勇于生活，熱愛(ài)生活，活得更有意義，并及時(shí)糾正了我的一些教育觀念。
