Tour guide is my ideal job. Being a tourguide means eloquence, flexible work time, broadened knowledge, and ability todeal with many emergencies. With the rapid development in both economy andglobalization, tour guide often faces more challenges than they used to.
To be a tour guide, eloquence should be thefirst requirement. Only with eloquent ability, can a tour guide be welcomed bythe whole tour group.
Flexible working time may be anotherchallenge for a tour guide. They sacrifice much for their work, including theirstay with family, their normal rest, their health, and so on.
Broadened knowledge is a must for a tourguide because during the touring, the tourist guide must take advantages of allthey have learned to make a lively and relaxed atmosphere and to describe andintroduce the tourist attractions vividly, which will arouse the tourists’ interestfor the tourist attractions.
Although the demanding requirements for aqualified tourist guide, the pleasure and satisfaction brought by the job canmake up for it. The beautiful tourist attractions, the widened view, and thehappiness from communication with people, all these makes it a rewarding work. Anyway,the income should be another way for my choice.
