Job Summary
Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials to ensure a timely flow of materials in support of master production schedule; Generate reports for supply chain team; conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc.) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Purchase materials based on engineering needs and production schedules
Push supplier and expedite for urgent delivery, by priority
Handle other exception cases from plan/schedule change, such as pushing out and cancellation
Confirm with suppliers for delivery date, maintain in system and communicate with others
Track each purchase order line’s progress until materials delivered to receiving plant
Coordinate any dock problems during the process of material receiving at plant warehouse
Arrange parts return in case of quality issue
Solve quantity inconsistency among purchase order, actual receipt and invoice
Download and analyze inventory reports
Closely follow up problem vendors shortage issues
Monitor weekly receiving components projection
Support supply chain team for daily routing jobs like system reports consolidation
Handle other tasks relating to material planning and inventory management
Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures, appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws, policies and procedures include but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network
