Job Description and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an individual to be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of high quality code to support EMC’s global manufacturing operations. This role requires you to be part of a striving global team, to directly communicate with our global partners, and to handle assigned work items jointly with oversea colleagues.
This position provides an opportunity to co-work with engineers in a Fortune 500 multi-national company. A successful candidate will have opportunities to co-work with very experienced engineers and earn firsthand experience on different phases of software development lifecycle.
A successful candidate must have a computer science related background, have some problem solving skill and an easy going personality.
Responsibilities:
- Support various quality programs as required and deliver testware to validate EMC manufacturing and Global Platform Qualification Engineering test requirements.
- Involved in all phases of the development process including but not limited to: requirements analysis, design, develop, integration test and regression test.
- Contribute to the group quality policies and procedures, deliver QA Acceptance report and Qual Report to stakeholders, report and manage bugs.
- Maintain CI daily integration test scripts and analyze/drive CI issues fix.
- Drive QA regression issues post-mortem and user feedback issues post-mortem.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelors or above (Graduated in 2017)
- Proficient in object-oriented software development, familiar with Python is a plus.
- Working knowledge of one the following environments is a plus: Windows and Linux.
- Can work at least 3 days/week, more than 6 months.
- Sense of urgency.
- Good English communication skills, strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Good teamwork and ability to work in a fast paced work environment.
