How I Spent My Summer Vacation
I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations,this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school .this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endlehappy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

我今年用一種不同的方式來過暑假.我過去常常用以前過暑假的方式度過,今年暑假我只是不能像以前這樣多的精力與時間這樣過.我很快會進入高中學(xué)習(xí)的最后一學(xué)年,畢業(yè)后面臨大學(xué)考試.盡管這些考試還有一年時間,我必須提前準(zhǔn)備復(fù)習(xí)那些在學(xué)校學(xué)過的知識,這次暑假機會難逢,讓我可以做一番事情.首先,我對此十分著急,我想現(xiàn)在好一些了.因為我這個假期比較努力,我會好好倚靠這無窮的快樂暑假.用這樣的想法讓我著手工作或者適應(yīng)變化,或者鍛煉身體都可以.這樣的日子我根本不會覺得乏味,因為我有欲望的支持.
