Medium有“中道”的意思，happy是“高興，幸?！敝?。Happy medium意為“快樂中道”或“幸福中道”，此時，medium就是“好，恰如其分，恰到好處”的意思了。Happy medium就是我國孔夫子提出的“中庸之道”了，但是它也可以指“折中的辦法”。當(dāng)我們面對事情進(jìn)退兩難的時候，就要采用happy medium了。
