1. 解詞釋義
Laughing matter是指“無關(guān)緊要的事情，開玩笑的事情”。但是no laughing matter相當(dāng)于not alaughing matter，意思是指“此事不可言笑”“此事非兒戲，是正經(jīng)事”。這個俚語用來告誡對方請嚴(yán)肅地看待事情和所發(fā)生的問題，因?yàn)樗遣荒茈S意可以開玩笑或鬧著玩的。

你遲到可不是件可以一筆了之的小事。
