You can take two books out at a time. But you can't take out newspapers, magazines or periodicals; they have to be read here.
一次可以借兩本書(shū)。但報(bào)紙、雜志及期刊不外借，只能在這里看。
How long am I allowed to keep the books for?

For two weeks. After that you must renew the books if you wish to keep them longer. Otherwise we charge ten dollars a day fine for each book.
