Accepting a reservation 接受預(yù)訂
Dialogue:
W: Good morning Italian restaurant. How may I help you/What can I do for you?
上午好，意大利餐廳，我能幫到您什么？
G: Yes, I’d like to reserve a table for tonight.
我想今晚在這訂張桌子。
W: Certainly sir. For how many persons?（問人數(shù)）
當(dāng)然可以了，先生。請問要訂多少人的桌子呢？
G: Six.
六個(gè)人。
W: At what time would you like it?（問時(shí)間）
請問什么時(shí)候光臨呢？
G: 7:30 tonight.
今晚7點(diǎn)半。
W: Yes, sir. May I have your name and telephone number?（客人名字及電話）
好的，先生。能告訴我您的姓名和電話嗎？
G: It’s Smith and my number is 123456
史密斯，我的電話是123456
W: Thank you very much Mr. Smith. A table for 6 at 7:30 tonight. Is that right?（確認(rèn)）
非常感謝，史密斯先生。今晚七點(diǎn)半一張六人桌,對嗎？
G: Yes, thank you.

W: We will hold the table for 15 minutes. And we look forward to seeing you/ Thank you for calling us.

備注：1 接電話時(shí) 問候語+餐廳名+ How may I help you?/What can I do for you?/Is there anything I can do for you?
2 接受預(yù)訂要問人數(shù)、預(yù)定時(shí)間、用餐形式（根據(jù)實(shí)際情況）、名字及電話。

3在結(jié)束通話之前要做一個(gè)確定（confirm）。

G: Yes, I’d like to reserve 2 tables at 8:00 tonight.
我想訂兩張桌子，今晚八點(diǎn)。
W: I’m sorry, sir, there aren’t any table left for 8:00 tonight. But we can book one for you at 9:00.
不好意思，先生。今晚八點(diǎn)的桌子全部預(yù)訂完畢，但我們九點(diǎn)會有位子。
G: No, that’s too late
. 不好，那太晚了。
W: I’m terribly sorry, sir.
實(shí)在很抱歉，先生
G: How about tomorrow evening?
明晚呢？
W: We are fully booked for tomorrow evening, and I can’t guarantee anything, but we’ll try our best. I hope you’ll understand.
明晚的桌子也預(yù)訂完畢了，我們不能保證，但會盡力而為。希望您能諒解。
G: I do, but I would appreciate it if you could arrange it.
